Quilting Services
I'm here to help.
I'm excited to help you bring your quilt top to life with my longarm quilting services. I've had more than one customer say, "It looks like a real quilt!" when they see the finished result. I offer a variety of pantographs, threads, and batting to suit your style and I'm known for my quick turnaround time, so you won't be waiting long. Don't worry if it's your first time, I'll walk you through everything and treat your quilt with the utmost care it deserves. If you have any questions, just reach out!

How does it work?

Step 1: Prepare your quilt top.
Before I can quilt your project, it's important to prepare your quilt top (and backing) properly. I've put together a simple checklist to walk you through what to do. This helps ensure the best results. Get the checklist HERE.
Step 2 : Fill out the booking form.
Next, complete the Book a Quilt form. This is where you'll tell me about your quilt and your preferences, like the pantograph design, thread color, and batting choice. You can also share details about your quilt pattern, fabrics, and who it's for. The more information you give me, the better I can match your vision. Once I get your form, I'll reach out to you to confirm everything.
Step 3 : Drop off or mail your quilt.
After we've connected, you can either drop off your quilt or mail it to me, whichever works best for you. (If mailing, I recommend using a tracking number.) Once it arrives, your quilt goes into my queue, and I'll get started on it as soon as I can.
Step 4 : Enjoy your finished quilt.
When your quilt is finished, I'll email you an invoice. As soon as it's paid, I'll either mail your quilt back, insured and with tracking, or we'll arrange a pickup. Then all that's left to do is snuggle up and enjoy your beautifully finished quilt.
How much will it cost?
Let's break it down so you know what to expect.
With my Bernina Q24 longarm machine, I offer all over edge-to-edge, digital quilting. (I am not doing custom quilting at this time.) For standard density quilting the cost is $0.0275 per square inch, with a minimum charge of $50. I will work closely with you in deciding which quilting design will work best with the style, fabrics, and overall purpose of your quilt. Check out the Digital Designs page HERE to see what kinds of designs I currently offer.
What about batting?
Batting gives warmth, weight, and drape.
I keep a wide variety in stock of queen size Quilters Dream batting. I can also special order any of the Quilters Dream battings in any size or kind if needed. Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the quilting square inch price.
Batting is priced by the linear inch and comes from queen-size rolls which are 93" wide (unless a special order is requested). I'll only use what your quilt needs, measuring the smallest side and adding a 5" margin. For example, if your quilt is 60" x 80", I would cut 65" of the batting you choose.

Shipping
Shipping is easy.
I am located in beautiful northern Nevada and am happy to receive your quilt tops and backings by mail. To keep your materials safe on their journey, I recommend placing everything in a plastic bag (just in case of any unexpected moisture), then packing it all in a sturdy cardboard box. Make sure it's taped up nice and secure, and that your label is clear and easy to read.
When it's time to return your quilt, I'll send it back just as carefully, using either USPS priority mail or UPS, whichever gives you the best value. Both options include $100 insurance and tracking but if you'd like extra peace of mind, just let me know on your intake form and I'll add additional insurance for you. I'll include the shipping and insurance costs on your final invoice, along with a small $3 handling fee.
